• saltwater-recreational — 居住者 A recreational (tidal/marine) fishing licence issued by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is required. Licences are region-specific (e.g. the BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence on the Pacific coast). Obtain them through the National Recreational Licensing System., 非居住者 Non-residents need the same DFO recreational tidal/marine licence for the relevant region.
• freshwater-recreational — 居住者 Inland/freshwater angling licences are issued by each province or territory, not by DFO. Rules, seasons and fees vary by province., 非居住者 Non-residents need the relevant provincial/territorial freshwater angling licence.
