• saltwater-recreational — 居住者 Individual recreational/sport fishing (pesca deportiva) from shore for personal consumption does NOT require a fishing permit in Peru. A permit/authorisation from PRODUCE is required to fish from a vessel (embarcación). Regardless of permit, the national minimum-capture-size rules (R.M. 209-2001-PE) apply to everyone: it is prohibited to extract, receive, transport, process or sell fish below the established sizes., 非居住者 Same rules apply to visiting anglers: no individual permit needed for shore angling for personal use, but vessel-based fishing requires authorisation and the national minimum-size limits must be respected at all times.
