Several Bundesländer issue a short-term Touristenfischereischein or Urlauberfischereischein without the examination — Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg among them — but not all do, and the conditions differ. The only figures shown here are EU minimum conservation reference sizes, which apply at sea. You need both a Fischereischein and a water-specific Fischereierlaubnisschein to fish.
